Orlando Economic Partnership

Orlando is setting the stage for its future with Orlando 2045: Igniting Orlando’s Potential, a transformative 20-year visioning project led by the Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) in collaboration with NEXT Generation Consulting (NGC). The initiative seeks to ensure the region’s economic prosperity, societal well-being, and global competitiveness by 2045. This comprehensive effort involves input from a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, chambers of commerce, nonprofits, government partners, and the community.

A steering committee led by Rena Langley, Senior Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs at Walt Disney World, plays a pivotal role in guiding the project. Through surveys, meetings, and workshops, these stakeholders worked together to develop and refine strategies that will extend Orlando’s economic base, cater to its growing population, and elevate its national and global standing.

The OEP is an economic and community development organization committed to advancing Broad-based Prosperity® and creating a more prosperous economy for all. By harnessing the power of partnerships, the OEP drives economic growth, attracts expanding companies, boosts job creation, drives investment, improves com- petitiveness, and fuels regional leadership. Key initiatives include economic development and regional marketing, advocacy and public affairs, advancing semiconductor manufacturing capabilities, and amplifying Orlando’s status as one of the world’s top destinations for businesses and talent.
