ABOUT THE DOCTOR
The practice is led by triple-board-certified Neurologist Dr. Ros-Escalante, who is fellowship-trained in Neurophysiology techniques at the prestigious Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He holds board certifications in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition, he is certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine in Nerve Conduction and Electromyography techniques, demonstrating the highest competency in electrodiagnostic evaluations of Neuromuscular Disorders. Dr. Ros-Escalante is affiliated with the AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute and serves as staff Neurologist at AdventHealth Altamonte Campus, where he has functioned as Stroke Program Director since 2020. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and a Fellow member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Ros-Escalante served our nation as an Officer in the US Army Medical Corps and, during his active-duty time, served as the Chief of Neurology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii before transitioning to civilian life. During his time in active-duty service, he received multiple military accolades. Dr. Ros-Escalante collaborates with Certified Nurse Practitioner Katherine Matos in managing their patients. Katherine Matos has privileges at AdventHealth with her main campus at AdventHealth Altamonte, where she had previously served as a nurse and Assistant Nurse Manager for seven years before becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

The medical staff at Neurology & Neurodiagnostics, LLC specializes in caring for adults with neurological disorders and has a particular interest in treating patients with neuromuscular disorders. At their facility, electrodiagnostic evaluations are performed by the physician in collaboration with trained medical professionals, ensuring the best data collection and interpretation quality. At their state-of-the-art office located in the Lake Mary Professional Campus, Dr. Ros-Escalante and Katherine Matos have the support of a “Dream Team” composed of Elsa and Alba as Medical Receptionists, Vanessa as Medical Assistant, Veronica as Specialty Infusion and Multiple Sclerosis therapies coordinator, Amy as Certified Electroencephalography Technician, Crystal as the Office Coordinator, and Desiree as Practice Administrator. They are proud of being a subspecialized, intimate practice full of energy and enthusiasm to provide their community with the best possible care. They collaborate very closely with primary care physicians and/or referring providers and remain highly committed to promoting their patients’ health.
