Themed halls are packed full of exhibits that teach while they entertain. The center also features an observatory, with one of the most powerful telescopes in the region, and the eight-story Dr. Phillips CineDome, with large-format films and laser-light shows set to music. Open daily except Wednesdays. Summer hours vary. Ticket price includes admission to the museum and viewing of all films in the CineDome. Admission: $12-$17.
