1. A Natural Contour

Contouring can give definition to the jawline and sculpt the cheeks to look lifted and thinner. Create a shadow effect by applying a bronzer underneath the cheekbone (starting at the ear and ending at the middle of the face). Apply a face highlighter to the middle of the forehead, bridge of the nose, underneath the eyes, finishing with a dab on the cupid’s bow of the upper lip, and on the chin. Use a bright pink blush for the apples of the cheeks and finish the look with a natural pink lipstick.”

2. Bold Berry Lip

A bold berry lip color looks great on almost any skin tone and is the perfect look for a holiday party. Create the look by lining the lips with a natural-colored lip liner to give them a fuller appearance. Next, apply a berry-colored lip stain, or lipstick, all over the lips. Moisturize the lips—and give them shine—by adding a lush pink gloss. Lastly, let the lips stand out by using light champagne-colored eye shadows and a subtle pink blush for the eyes and face.”

3. Emerald Smoky Eye

Achieve this look by first using an eye shadow primer on the lids. Next, sweep an emerald green eye shadow from the lash line to the crease of the lid. Apply a medium brown shadow from the middle of the eye to the outer corner. Line the eyes by first using a brown smudge stick on the top and bottom of the eyes, followed by a green-colored liquid liner only to the top of the eyes. Both liners should be applied as close to the lash line as possible. Finish off the eyes with a high-impact mascara.”

All About That Base

A great holiday look starts with a solid foundation. Begin by applying a long-lasting primer to clean skin. Next, apply foundation all over the face, including eyelids, followed by concealer underneath the eyes. Set the foundation by sweeping a translucent setting powder over the face. Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation, $43,; Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, $36,; Kett Cosmetics Kett Set Powder Compact, $22,
