11/9-10 The electronica music/audiovisual experience known as the Electric Daisy Carnival returns to Orlando’s Tinker Field at the Citrus Bowl. The lively atmosphere includes DJs spinning tunes on four main stages interspersed with carnival rides.

Southern Women's Show


11/9-11 Fall brings several unique festivals to Central Florida. One of the most notable is Disney’s Festival of The Masters. This free art event features award-winning artists showcasing their paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry and more.

11/10-18 Meanwhile, Christmas comes early to the Orlando Museum of Art, where the Festival of Trees features signature designer trees, a gingerbread village, a toyland town and more. Entertainment includes choir music and dance performances. p.

Through April After the recent trades, acquisitions and management dust-ups, the Orlando Magic enter their 2012-13 season with hopes that Jameer Nelson (above), Hedo Turkoglu, Glen Davis, J.J. Redick, Arron Afflalo and the rest of the team can put a positive spin on a rebuilding project.


Winter Park Autumn Art Festival


Through 12/29 “Keeping Haiti In Our Hearts: Interpreting Heritage in the Diaspora” shows the evolution of the Haitian identity and the differing cultural experiences of Haitians living in the U.S. The two-location exhibition is held on Crealdé’s main campus and at Hannibal Square Heritage Center in Winter Park.

11/22-25 On Thanksgiving weekend, the Orange County Convention Center becomes your own personal vehicular showroom, providing an intimate look at electrics, exotics and the hottest new sports cars on display at the Central Florida International Auto Show.
