Organic foundations and concealers for toxin-free glam.

Roberto Gonzalez

You are what you eat, but what about what you put on your skin? “We need to be more aware of not just what goes in our body but what we put on our body,” says Judith Marvaldi, co-owner of Nature in Beauty in New Smyrna Beach. “Mainstream cosmetics are made with toxic ingredients that can really affect our health.” Organic products, and those made mostly with organic ingredients, forgo petroleum, aluminum, lead and parabens in favor of avocado, coconut and aloe. Says Marvaldi: “Mother Nature is the best chemist. It’s best to use ingredients that are real, not manufactured.” Here’s a rundown of some of our favorite natural foundations and concealers.
