The Bride Lady Gonzalez, 26, works for Shades of Green Hotel.
The Groom Danny Jijon, 25, is a nurse at Florida Hospital.
How They Met Lady and Danny met while working at Camp Kulaqua in 2009 during a special week dedicated to blind children. After that week of getting to know each other, they became great friends. Lady denied Danny’s suggestions of romance until the summer was over, and she fell for him in the end. “I really wanted a good, deep relationship instead of just some summer loving,” she says.
Their Engagement Lady’s sisters made plans for her to go to Disney's BoardWalk out of the blue. After running into Danny’s friend holding a sign that said “Lady Enter” in front of a boardwalk gazebo, and then finding another friend inside with a package, Lady started to realize something exciting was happening. Suddenly, Danny walked up and told her to open the package—then he got down on one knee. “He said beautiful words that I can barely remember since I was so surprised in the moment.”
Their Wedding The couple enjoyed a colorful wedding with vintage touches.

“The moment I walked down the aisle it seemed like everything disappeared. It felt like I was seeing him for the first time." —Lady
