The Bride Holly-Rose Godkin, 24, is the assistant buyer and manager at Zou Zou Boutique.
The Groom Jeremy Sainlar, 26, is a luxury real estate agent and car investor.
How They Met Holly and Jeremy met in Celebration, after Holly’s family relocated from England, and Jeremy’s from Kentucky. They attended the same middle school and high school, and when Holly was a freshman in May of 2004, Jeremy asked her out on a date, missing Junior prom to be with her. They immediately became inseparable, and stayed together through high school and later through Holly’s years in Savannah for college.
Their Engagement After seven years together, the couple went on a 10-day cruise in the Virgin Islands with Holly’s parents. When one of their beach days ended, Jeremy asked the cab driver to stop at Timothy Hill, which overlooks where the Caribbean and Atlantic meet. While they were standing at the top taking pictures, Jeremy caught Holly off guard by getting down on one knee. “I was so surprised and so glad my parents got to witness and photograph our amazing moment,” she says. “It was perfect!”
