Drinks Are on You
The Spa at the Peabody (peabodyorlando.com; 407-352-4000) has put the “man” in manicure for Father’s Day, specially formulating manly concoctions—some with whiskey—so he won’t feel weird about getting a beauty treatment as a present. With the Hot Whiskey Scour Manicure (30 minutes, $50), Dad soaks his hands in warm milk to soothe and soften the skin. Then, his manicurist uses a shot of hot bourbon to exfoliate Dad’s callused hands before performing a no-polish manicure, finishing with a warm agave nectar hand massage. There’s also the Bourbon Cowboy (80 minutes, $210), a full-body treatment featuring a bourbon and brown sugar scrub. Or go with the On the Rocks Pedicure (45 minutes, $65), which uses the same scrub to smooth and treat feet. Alcohol-free Father’s Day treatments include Daddy and Me ($180), a father-daughter mani-pedi session, and Dad’s Retreat ($135), an invigorating 50-minute sports massage.

Hair-Raiser
Cooler heads prevail, which is probably why buzz cuts are so popular when it’s so dang hot outside. But if you use gel to get that straight-up spiky effect, your hair feels stiff. AXE Buzzed Look Cream ($5.99 at food, drug and mass retail outlets; theaxeeffect.com) gets your hair to stand on end while keeping it soft and totally touchable, plus it has an SPF of 15 to protect your scalp from the sun.

Cool Beans
A green coffee bean contains approximately 1,000 antioxidants, and the roasting process adds about 300 more. So having a cup of joe made with freshly roasted beans can literally rejuvenate you. Here’s why: Antioxidants are believed to combat the aging process and protect against a range of diseases, from cancer to Alzheimer’s. Palmano’s Trattoria & Wine Bar in Winter Park (palmanos.com; 407-647-7520) roasts green coffee beans from Indonesia, South and Central America, the Caribbean and Africa in its own facility and packages them ($10.95-$14.95 per pound) by hand. Gourmet coffee makes a great gift for Dad’s Day.

Scent of a Man
Summer’s in the air, which means it’s time for lighter, brighter fragrances. Calvin Klein’s Eternity for Men ($65 for 3.4 ounces) is a limited-edition scent that captures the season’s warmth and freshness with top notes of citrus, mint, coriander and watermelon, rounded out with the sensuous aromas of anise, cedar, red amber and patchouli. Eau de toilette spray is available at Dillard’s (dillards.com), Macy’s (macys.com), Sephora (sephora.com) and ULTA (ulta.com) in Orlando.

A Bronze Beauty
Few men would dream of wearing makeup, but a little bronzer is acceptably metrosexual. EVOLUTIONMAN Moisture Protect SPF 20 ($20; evolution-man.com) multitasks as a sunblock, moisturizer and bronzer, giving masculine skin a naturally healthy glow. The sun protection prevents damage while soothing, healing and hydrating elements restore and improve the skin.

Round-the-Clock Shadow
Beards are back in style, so ditch the razors, let the facial hair grow and be prepared to take care of your new look. Get started with Bluebeards Original Beard Wash ($14; bluebeardsoriginal.com), and then manage your freshly cleaned whiskers with the Beard Saver ($24). It’s a skin and facial hair lotion that conditions and tames bristly beards and meandering mustaches. Groom your growth with the Classic Beard Brush ($24), crafted of boar-hair bristles and a wood handle emblazoned with the Bluebeards Bearded Skull logo.
