The Bride Misty Miotto, 37, is a wedding photographer and owner of Misty Miotto Photography.
The Groom Nelio Miotto, 35, is a wedding photographer and co-owner of Misty Miotto photography.
How They Met Misty and Nelio lived in the same apartment complex two floors apart. They ran into each other often, but never spoke besides whispering shy greetings to each other. One night, they ran into each other. Literally. “I bumped into him so hard that he had to catch me as I fell,” says Misty. They had their first conversation that night, which later turned into their first dance. “We’ve been inseparable ever since.”
Their Engagement Nelio took Misty to their favorite Italian restaurant, a place that they had visited often while they were dating. Misty noted that the servers were being extra nice, but suspected nothing. After they ate, Nelio got up from his seat and knelt at Misty’s side on one knee. “He was three shades of red,” says Misty. “Of course I said yes!”
Their Wedding A vow renewal with a butterfy theme, which represented the couple’s love and personal growth.
