8/31-9/2 In its seventh year, the Central Florida Film Festival, or CENFLO, gets bigger and better. The acclaimed three-day festival will present 80 films from around the world. Catch When You Find Me, a short film produced by Ron Howard and directed by his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard, making its Central Florida premiere. Screenings and events take place at West Orange 5 Cinemas in Ocoee.

8/25 The Red Chair Affair is an enriching one-stop cultural extravaganza featuring dozens of Central Florida arts groups and organizations showcasing their upcoming seasons (including Orlando Aerial Arts, above). The event takes place at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre; general admission is $22, with VIP packages available that offer food, drink and a chance to mingle with the artists.
