Branded B Boutique: Keeping It All in the Family

Branded B Boutique in downtown Historic Kissimmee is a group venture by the Browns.

The Brown sisters—Tiffany and Misty with their mother Linda

Stroll into the Branded B Boutique on any given day, and you’re likely to be welcomed by a member of the Brown family. The women’s apparel and accessories shop is owned by the Brown sisters—Tiffany and Misty (pictured at right with their mother Linda) and Ivy—with the support of their brothers. It also serves as a gallery of sorts for their mother’s original oil paintings and wearable art clothing line called B Studio Art by Linda Ballantine Brown. The boutique is an unexpected and stylish find in the middle of this cattle town’s main street.

“Our shop has an eclectic and fun ambiance,” says redhead Tiffany Brown, who radiates genuine Southern hospitality. “We love meeting new people and having friends stop by. We want our customers to make themselves at home.”

With this in mind, the Browns keep toys on hand for mothers who have kids in tow. There’s also a comfy antique sofa covered in cowhide where spouses can lounge as their wives shop.

All three sisters have a hand in buying for the boutique, which carries accessories starting at $12, to custom leather pieces for $1,000. Many of the items have a decidedly Southwestern flair. Says Tiffany: “You can look around and see many different styles that can be combined for an amazing outfit. We love denim, sequins, leather and lace.” Her everyday preference is blue jeans, but she says her sisters like dresses—even though they may have just come from herding cows on their family’s Kissimmee ranch.

The Browns are 4th-generation cattle ranchers. Tiffany and her five siblings work together as a team in everything they do, she says. “Our brothers built many of the displays in our store with wood from the ranch. It takes all of us working together to keep a balance between the ranch and the Branded B. Family is important to us, and we are blessed to have a strong one.” 125 Broadway, Kissimmee. 407-201-5923.
