Destination Weddings, Part 2
I get so excited when brides decide to plan destination weddings. Here are my top three pieces of advice I always pass along: 1) A destination wedding doesn’t necessarily mean going to the beach. Think of all the options just within the U.S. and expand that list by considering a location out of the country. 2) It’s OK to do a destination wedding without family and guests. It’s your day; do it how you want to, friends and family will understand (eventually). Finally, know the marriage requirements associated with your chosen destination. You don’t want to come home just to find out the United States won’t recognize your recent nuptials.
