Orlando's Best Bars: The Disney Parks Edition

It's Disney for adults... The best spots for drinks around Walt Disney World's theme parks and resorts

Nomad Lounge at Tiffins offers a taste of the exotic at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Walt Disney World isn't just about the kids. Disney attracts families, friends and couples from around the world, who after a day at the theme parks, like to celebrate with a cocktail (or two). It is vacation, after all. Some of Orlando's best bars are actually located in and around the Disney theme parks. And in true Disney form, these lounges aren't the typical watering holes you'll find back home. From exotic Polynesian hideaways with fiery rum drinks to an authentic Mexican tequila bar and Italian wine cellar, visitors will find just the right libation for any occasion.

La Cava De Tequila
The Epcot World Showcase is an adult favorite, and the first stop on any trip around the world should be Mexico. This cozy little tequila bar is tucked inside the Aztec temple and offers 70 kinds of tequilas and specialty margaritas with ingredients like beets, pineapple, avacado and jalapeno. Salud!

Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar
Transport yourself to Italy at this intimate wine bar at Epcot's Italy Pavilion. Most guests walk straight by without ever noticing it, but those lucky enough to find it can easily grab a table for a limoncello martini or glass of wine before ordering off the menu from the busy restaurant next door.

Tiffins at Animal Kingdom
Adjoining this new Animal Kingdom restaurant is Nomad Lounge, an exotic bar with a focus on travel. Patrons can sip refreshing specialty cocktails and African beer while signs around the bar help strike up conversation: What was the greatest travel challenge you've faced? Why do you travel? What was your best animal encounter?

Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar
Indiana Jones fans will love this bar named for Jones' sidekick and pilot. On the waterfront at Disney Springs, the Hangar Bar serves up festive drinks like the Cool-Headed Monkey and the Air Pirates Mule along with small bites. The eatery is decked out in movie memorabilia, salvaged equipment and spare aiplane parts.

Morimoto Asia
On the second floor of this dazzling celebrity chef restaurant at Disney Springs is Forbidden Lounge, the perfect perch for people-watching and viewing the springs. Try the Manhattan East made with sake or the sangria with asian pears and plum wine. End the night Japanese-style with a bowl of steaming ramen.

Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and Tiki Bar
This enchanting hideway at Disney's Polynesian Resort is one of the best-themed bars on property. Enjoy fun drinks like the HippopotoMai-Tai and Mosquito Mojito, but be careful when ordering the Uh-Oa! which might just anger the gods and cause the whole place to shake. (Accessible by monorail, ferry and water taxi to the Magic Kingdom)

Abracadabar
This is a great go-to bar on Disney's Boardwalk, which recently opened next to the acclaimed Flying Fish. Enjoy a menu of Curious Cocktails served by your waiter, an aspiring magician. The more you drink, the more strange things you'll notice throughout the bar, from disappearing art work to wallpaper with hidden symbols.
