"Swan Lake" is opening this weekend with three show times happening at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts.

Friday:

Howl O' Woof  – Mennello Museum – 6 to 8 p.m.

Grounded – Mad Cow Theatre – 8 p.m.

It's opening night for this one-woman show about a female fighter pilot transitioning to the world of drone warfare after the birth of her first child. For more info and show times: madcowtheatre.com

Howl-O-Ween Dog Walk-a-thon – Casselberry – 9 a.m. to noon

Franklin’s Friends brings back the fourth annual event with a leisurely dog walk, doggie costume contest, adoptable dogs, raffles, music, petfriendly vendors, and much more at Secret Lake Park in Casselberry. For more info: franklinsfriends.info

Free Admission Family Day – Orlando Museum of Art – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bring the family for a day of art, music and fun to family day with free admission featuring a special program with author-illustrator Chris Raschka, hands-on art activities, a Family Highlights Tour, scavenger hunts, music and more. For more info: omart.org

Boo Bash – Windermere – 5 to 8 p.m.

The Grove invites you to enjoy complimentary fun for the family with a DJ, games, contests and a costume parade. Kids will enjoy an eerie dry ice experience, make gooey slime to take home and experience a “gross” sensory station with Mad Science, a leading enrichment program offering fun and education. Halloween Block Party – Lake Mary – 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Liam Fitzpatrick’s is taking over Colonial Town Park for this eek-citing free event, open to the public, where all guests (21 & up) are invited to drink, dance and dress in their Halloween best as they celebrate with Liam’s and plaza neighbors: Graffiti Junction, Dexter’s of Lake Mary, Duffy’s Sports Grill and F&D Cantina. 10th Anniversary Halloween Party – Eden Bar – 9 p.m.

What would Halloween be without Michael Myers and a bloody good time? Come for the food, the drinks, the music, and be dressed to impress in the costume contest before grabbing a ticket (extra purchase necessary) to Halloween II which will start at midnight. For more info: enzian.org

Multi-Day Events:

Spooky Nights and Spider Frights – IDrive 360 – Fri to Sun

From the I-Drive 360 courtyard, guests can also experience the witching hour as 64,000 LED lights bring the Orlando Eye to life in a kaleidoscopic ten-minute show synchronized to an iconic Halloween soundtrack that is sure to have everyone dancing. Other closing weekend activities include DJ  music starting at 6 p.m. in the courtyard, dance and costume contests, trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating contest, spider selfie with an enormous 60 ft spider that’s made its home on top of the Orlando Eye, and a scary fun Halloween movie screening on Oct. 29th. 

Swan Lake – Dr. Phillips Center – Fri to Sun

The Orlando Ballet delivers an enchanting look at this classic romance with music performed live by Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in three show times this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. For more info: orlandoballet.org

Spooky Empire – The Hyatt Regency Orlando – Fri to Sun

Hollywood celebrities are invading IDrive this weekend for this spooky thriller convetion celebrating the reunion of the Hollywood classic, Sixteen Candles, with the attendance of Molly Ringwald, John & Joan Cusack and Anthony Michael Hall plus the 30th anniversary of iconic American horror comedy The Lost Boys with the attendance of Billy Wirth, Jamison Newlander and G Tom Mac. Underground Vampire Bar – DRIP Orlando – Fri & Sat

ZOO Boo Bash – Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens – Sat & Sun

Mr. Richard & The Pound Hounds A Halloween Concert – Orlando Repertor Theatre – Sat & Sun
