Friday:

Rootstock Plant & Garden Festival – Bok Tower Gardens – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shriekfest Film Festival – Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center – 2 to 10 p.m.

Book Signing – Winter Park – 6 p.m.

IMMERSE – Downtown Orlando – 5 to 11:00 p.m.

The Creative City Project presents this annual event. With an estimated 15,000 people, including more than 1,000 artists and performers, expected to participate, downtown Orlando will become a series of unexpected and creative art adventures. For more info: creativecityproject.com

Sunday:

Music at the Casa – Casa Feliz – noon to 3 p.m.

Aleksandra Vargas, mezzosoprano, accompanied by flutist Carrie Wiesinger and guitarist Eladio Scharrón will be performing a repertoire of Spanish and Latin-American works at this historic home. For more info: casafeliz.us

Festival Calle Orange – Downtown Orlando – 1 to 9 p.m.

ARToberFEST – Winter Springs – Sat & Sun
