Friday:

Opening Night Party & Show – Orlando Shakes – 6:15 p.m.

Purchase a ticket to the opening night performance of The Luckiest People–running through April 29–and you're invited to arrive early and enjoy free light appetizers, followed by a brief, informative discussion about the creative process with the director and members of the creative team. Art31: Fiber Finale – Maitland Art Center – 7 to 9 p.m.

Close out Art31 with a performance by the Accidental Music Festival (AMF) Ensemble, a pop-up exhibit by Orlando Modern Quilt Guild and a Q&A with with members, view the Fiber exhibit, participate in Indigo Waves, a community weaving installation, and meet “Godrick”, the ambassador of Fiber, performed by puppetry artist Jack Fields. Saturday:

Easter Extravaganza – Ocoee – 10 a.m. to noon

It’s a fun-filled morning of activities such as the Easter egg hunt at the Jim Beech Recreation Center for infants up through children 12 years old, plus bounce houses, face painting, food and drinks, and pictures with the Easter Bunny himself. For more info: wochamber.com

Fashion Show & "Eggs"travaganza – Windermere – 11 a.m.

Hosted by The Grove, models of all ages will walk the catwalk showcasing seasonal fashions followed by an afternoon filled with games, music, egg hunts with great prizes including gift cards from participating retailers, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. For more info: thegroveorlando.com

World Food Festival – Crane's Roost Park – noon to 7 p.m.

The City of Altamonte Springs and iHeartRadio Orlando are partnering for this inaugural foodie fest featuring foods from around the world, live music on multiple stages, cultural arts including music and dance, traditional dress and customs, a global marketplace and more. Author Event & Workshop – Rollins College – noon

Writer’s Block Bookstore and the Department of English at Rollins College present author, teacher, and playwright John DuFresne in the SunTrust Auditorium to discuss his newest work, FLASH!: Writing the Very Short Story, and invites attendees to participate in an interactive flash fiction exercise. This event is free and open to the public. Spring Jazz Concert – Casselberry – 5 to 9 p.m.

Will Donato and J.J. Sansaverino join forces to co-headline this outdoor music and art festival in Lake Triplet Park. In addition to the live music, there will be an abundance of artistic style on display at this year's 5th Annual Experience Contemporary Art Exhibit inside City Hall with an artist reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m. For more info: casselberry.org

Sunday:

Sunrise Service on the Beach – Cocoa Beach – 6:45 a.m.

Cocoa Beach Pier will hold service conducted by Destiny Christian Church as the sun rises over the beach. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs, blankets or stand. The service is open to the public, and parking is complimentary for sunrise service guests. In addition, a traditional Easter Dinner will be served all day at Pelican’s Bar & Grill and The Boardwalk Bar. For more information: facebook.com/events

Sunrise Easter Service – Bok Tower Gardens – 7 a.m.

An annual tradition, worshipers are invited to experience the sun rising atop Iron Mountain during the service. Admission is free from 6 to 8 a.m., donations are suggested and The Entrance Gate, Visitor Center and Gift Shop will open at 6:00 a.m. For more info: boktowergardens.org

Big Bounce America – Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake – Fri through Apr 2

Walk through the doors of this inflatable castle and test your skills on the obstacle course, get big-air on the basketball courts, and glide down the giant slide into the ball pit, plus a DJ booth with nightclub quality sound and lights, a dance floor, and a VIP external dome.
