Nature Connects Art with LEGO Bricks is opening this Saturday and happening through April 22.

Friday:

Opening Night Show and Party – Orlando Shakes – 6:15 p.m.

Discover a hilarious new comedy of good intentions and bad manners. Ticket holders for opening night are also invited to the pre-show reception with free light appetizers provided by Mesa21, followed by a brief, informative discussion about the creative process with the director and members of the creative team. Salsa Downtown 2018 Kickoff – The Balcony Orlando – 8 to 11 p.m.

Happening the first Friday of every month, it's a fun night moving to the sounds of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and more at downtown Orlando's largest rooftop space. For tickets and more info: facebook.com/events

Saturday:

Brunch With Your Pup – Mennello Musuem of Art – 10 a.m. to noon

Grab your pups and picnic blankets to meet for the museum's first brunch of the new year, presented by The Urban Dog Real Estate Group. For more info: mennellomuseum.org

Winter Music Series – Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards – noon to 4 p.m.

Enjoy live music on Saturday afternoons in January, with bands performing on an outdoor stage. Along with complimentary winery tours and tastings, food, wine and soft drinks are available for purchase. For more info: lakeridgewinery.com

Sunday:

Crafts & Culture Market – Eatonville – 1 p.m.

Happening the first Sunday of every month, this outdoor family-friendly event features a kid’s corner, food trucks, artisan vendors, and music. Free. For more info: facebook.com/events

Music in the Library – Orlando Public Library – 2 to 4 p.m.

If you love folk music, then don't miss the live performance by the celebrated musical duo Hungrytown for free. For more info: ocls.info

Multi-Day Events:

Nature Connects Art with LEGO Bricks – Harry P. Leu Gardens – Through April 22

This exhibit uses 450,000 bricks to make larger-than-life sculptures such as a 6-foot hummingbird towering over a trumpet flower. Price included with admission. For more info: leugardens.org

MECUM Collector Car Auction – Kissimmee – Through Jan. 14

Expect to see thousands of antique, muscle and exotic cars for sale, along with old auto signs, hood ornaments and other memorabilia. For more info: mecum.com

Star-Studded Evenings – Orlando Science Center – Fri & Sat 

Visit the Crosby Observatory to gaze at stars, planets and other celestial objects, and catch a Hollywood movie in the Digital Adventure Theater from 5 to 9 p.m on both days. For more info: www.osc.org
