Friday:

Street Racing Made Safe – Orlando Speed World – 5 pm to midnight

Van Night – Ace Cafe – 7 to 9 pm

Movie Night – Leu Gardens – 8:30 pm

Watch La La Land in the open air of the enchanting Leu Gardens. Blankets or chairs are recommended, picnic dinners and alcohol are permitted on the grounds for the show. For more info: leugardens.org

Saturday:

Shake & Bake Car Show – Ace Cafe – 11 am to 2 pm

Cruise into Orlando's newest motorcycle and car cafe for an afternoon of hot cars and cool milk shakes with music by DJ Don. For more info: facebook.com/events/1480564955299347

Neighborhood Pig Roast – Ravenous Pig – 11:30 am to 3 pm

Held on the first Saturday of every month, August's menu features pulled pork, ribs, black eyed peas, collards, cornbread and a seasonal dessert for just $17 a plate. For more info call 407-628-2333

Z-Street Speakeasy Band – Bok Tower Gardens – 7:30 pm

As part of the summer music series at the gardens, this diverse band plays swing, jazz, hits from the Roaring 20’s, 30’s and 40’s and transitions into rock, pop, R&B, and more. Sunday:

HopeNow Back 2 School Bash – Camping World Stadium – 10 am to 1 pm

Get ready for the new school year with the gift of 10,000 backpacks, 100,000 school supplies, 3,000 books,  500 dental and vision screenings, and hundreds of hair cuts all provided by this 100% volunteer-run organization. Stouts 4 Snouts – Orlando Brewing – 2 to 6 pm

National Train Show – Orange County Convention Center – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

SeaWorld's Electric Ocean – SeaWorld Orlando – Fri to Sun

It's the closing weekend for the nightly festivities in the theme park include a high-energy Shamu show, DJ music with live performers, and fireworks. Included with regular park admission. For more info: seaworldparks.com
