Friday:

Folk Festival – Casselberry – 6 to 9 p.m.

A Gift For Teaching's Back-to-School Blast  – Rosen Shingle Creek – 7 to 11

A Gift For Teaching is celebrating their twentieth birthday and you’re invited. Guests should be ready to travel back in time to 1998, the year the organization was founded. Come as you are now, or come decked out ‘90s-style. The event includes food and music with appearances from DJ D-Strong, SWITCH, and ‘90s boyband royalty, Chris Kirkpatrick of ‘N SYNC. Bachata Downtown – The Balcony Orlando – 8 to 11:00 p.m.

The Color Run Hero Tour – Kissimmee – 9 a.m.

This year’s run is filled with superhero-inspired features as runners get doused in color at every kilometer. The event benefits Second Harvest Food Bank. For more info: ohpark.com

Orlando Art for Healing Festival – Maitland – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This free event at Lake Lily features jewelry and artworks by local and national artists, plus a healing garden and more. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. For more info: 407-739-7835

Delandapalooza Music Festival – DeLand – 1 p.m.

A 12-hour festival of original music and art, with acts performing on stages throughout DeLand’s historic downtown. Rock, folk, blues, jazz, country, metal and more, plus more than 40 art displays and various vendors. For more info: ssa.cc/delandapalooza.html

Cattle Baron's Ball – Rosen Shingle Creek – 6 to 11 p.m.

The American Cancer Society's 2018 Orlando Cattle Baron's Ball, presented by Harvill’s Produce, brings together cowboys and cowgirls for an evening of western-themed fun, and raises funds to help the Society finish the fight against cancer. For tickets and more info: acsfdo.ejoinme.org

Boots & Blues Concert – Leu Gardens – 7 p.m.

Celebration Exotic Car Festival – Daytona and Celebration – Fri to Sun
