Friday:

Chamber Trio – Morse Museum of American Art – 5 to 8 pm

Let the melodies of a live chamber trio – cello, flute, and violin – set the mood as you wander the galleries, with a curator tour at 7 pm. For more info: morsemuseum.org

Art31 Light Play – Maitland Art Center – 6:30 to 8:30 pm

It's Art31's last event for 2017, and the evening will feature a special performance by Voci Dance on the A&H's historic grounds, created around the theme of Borrowed Light, the Art Center's current exhibit. For more info: art31.org

Saturday:

Jam Bash Kissimmee – Silver Spurs Arena – 9 am

Jamfest, an international series of cheerleader and dance-team competitions, comes to Central Florida with a free, day-long event. Photographs and videos are allowed as you cheer for your favorite team, and there’s a fun zone for youngsters. For more info: ohpark.com

Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch – Bob Carr Theatre – 2 & 8 pm

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra presents a tribute to the late Marvin Hamlisch in the Pops Series concert featuring the sounds of Tony-award nominee, Jodi Benson. For more info: orlandophil.org

Boots & Blues Concert – Leu Gardens – 7 to 10 pm

The 50-foot botanical gardens are open for an evening of blues, soul and country performances by Gainesville’s popular country group, Jamie Davis Band, St. Cloud’s very own Slickwood and hailing all the way from New Orleans, Sybil Gage. For more info: eventbrite.com

Sunday:

Makia Matsumura Piano Concert – Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts – 2 pm

Silent film composer and pianist Makia Matsumura performs live with guest violinist Machiko Ozawa. For more info: bluebambooartcenter.com/shows

Multi-Day Events:

Spring Fiesta in the Park – Lake Eola – Sat 10 am to 5 pm, Sun noon to 5 pm

More than 150,000 people are expected to stroll around Lake Eola during this annual, family-oriented arts-and-crafts event. Plenty of music,  food  and games available. For more info: visitorlando.com/events

Florida Storytelling Festival – Mount Dora – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

Storytelling “concerts,” workshops and competitions, a Swappin’ Grounds, a Youthful Voices & Family Fun Tent, a story store and a story cruise on Lake Dora. For more info: flstory.com

Wrestlemania 33 – Locations Vary – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

WrestleMania, World Wrestling Entertainment’s biggest annual attraction, is actually a weeklong series of events that this year returns to Orlando. Some events take place at the Orange County Convention Center and Amway Center, but the main event on April 2 is at Camping World Stadium. For more info: wwe.com

Ringside: An Afternoon with Jim Ross & Friends – Plaza Live – Sat & Sun 2 pm

Jim Ross, the longtime but now retired play-by-play announcer for Wrestlemania, now has a live show in which the WWE Hall of Fame inductee and others talk about his years in the sports entertainment business. For more info: plazaliveorlando.com

Seaworld Seven Seas Food Festival – Seaworld Orlando – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

Sample coastal cuisine from around the world, paired with wines and craft beers, and renowned wildlife expert Jack Hanna returns April 1-2 with his animal ambassadors. For more info: seaworldorlando.com

EPCOT's International Flower & Garden Festival – Walt Disney World – Times Vary

Take in enchanting topiaries and gather gardening tips while sampling seasonal foods from the Outdoor Kitchens placed throughout this Disney World theme park’s World Showcase. Enjoy live music while picking up outdoor-living advice you can use at home. For more info: epcotinspring.com
