Friday:

Silent Sky – Rollins College – 8 pm

The Second Stage Series presents Silent Sky in the Fred Stone Theatre, a play produced by Rollins Players, and completely directed, designed, and performed by students. Free and open to the public. For more info: rollins.edu

Movie Night – Leu Gardens – 8:30 pm

Enjoy an outdoor screening of Star Trek Beyond in the gardens. Blankets or chairs are recommended, picnic dinners and alcohol are permitted. This movie is rated PG13. Under 13 years of age requires accompanying parent or adult guardian. For more info: leugardens.org

Saturday:

HeroFest Orlando – Lake Eola – 8 am to 2 pm

Foundation for Foster Children presents this first-time free family fun event, open to the public, with superhero dress up, games, and activities for all ages. There will also be a Hero’s Lap Around the Lake at the event in support of foster children in the Central Florida community. For more info: herofestorlando.com

Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Final Concert – Bob Carr Theatre – 8 pm

The Philharmonic, under the direction of Eric Jacobsen, will lead the large orchestra, vocalists Samantha Barnes Daniel, soprano and Virginie Verrez, mezzo-soprano, and the University of Central Florida Chorus in this eighty-minute program that is one of Mahler’s greatest and most well-known masterworks, Symphony No. 2 , for the final concert of their 2016/2017 season. Sunday:

An Evening with Michael Dorn – Shakespeare Theatre – 7 pm

Orlando Shakes in Partnership with UCF hosts renowned film, television, and stage actor, Michael Dorn for a one-night special event where he shares stories from his illustrious career in an “Inside the Actor’s Studio” format hosted by Jim Helsinger, Artistic Director at Orlando Shakespeare Theater. Multi-Day Events:

Geektastic Art Show – Dandelion Communitea Café – Times Vary

It's opening weekend for this exhibit running through June 4, and these artworks celebrate all things geek. Think Star Wars and Star Trek, superheroes and comic books, video games and pop culture. For more info: dandelioncommunitea.com

Exotic Car Festival – Locations Vary – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

North America’s largest collection of exotic cars, race cars and iconic Hollywood movie cars, are on display in downtown Celebration.  Also this year: Track days at Daytona International Speedway, and Jay Leno and Robin Zander perform at Universal Orlando’s Hard Rock Live. Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo – Kissimmee – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

UCF Celebrates the Arts – Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts –
